History and genealogy research is often focused on the places where our ancestors were born, lived, raised their families and died. While we are usually focused on what happened at a place decades or even centuries ago, sometimes there is current news about a place that may be of interest to genealogists and historians. In addition to our focus on providing guality, place-specific links to resources relevant to genealogists and historians, we have initiated an "In the News" section where we will include brief news summaries of genealogy-relevant news items about a place.
