- 0.6 mi. N of Afognak, on S coast of Afognak I., Kodiak I.
- Published in 1943 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). In 1849 the Russian American Company called this Aleutskoye Seleniye Kattagmyut or The Aleut village of Kattag (the ending myut is Eskimo for people). The same year, on Chart 1425, the Russian Hydrographic Dept. published the name Afognakskaya Odinochka meaning a separate part of Afognak. See Afognak.
