population 120, on right bank of Yukon River, at mouth of Anvik River, 34 mi. N of Holy Cross, Nulato Hills.
Ingalik village where Andrei Glazanov found several hundred people when he visited there in January 1834. Recorded by the Russians as "Anvig" or Anvik." A post office, first called "Anvick", was established here in 1897.
