- SE of Sipaulovi and 16.9 km (10.5 mi) SW of Polacca; 1915 descripion revised.
- The name, 'Mishongnovi', is of Hopi Indian origin, apparently meaning 'the other (of two sandstone columns) remains standing'. The columns had been raised about 1680 near the site of the ancient pueblo. The Navajo Indian name, 'Tseitsokit' meant great rocky dune (US-T121).
