- The Idler Family Cemetery was established in 1896 on the Gotthlif I Idler homestead to provide a burial place for seven of ten children of Gotthlif and Catherine Idler who died of diptheria in the period July 30 to Aug 9, 1896. Gotthlip (died 1942), Catherine (died 1924) and another son (died 1975) are also buried there.
