- Located approximately 8.6 km (5.3 mi) northeast of Kilmichael.
- The Peebles Cemetery was established in the early 1830's by Alpha Peebles and was originally located in old Choctaw County, Mississippi. Choctaw County was partitioned in 1874, and today the cemetery is located in Webster County, Mississippi. Several of the first pioneer families of this area of Mississippi are buried at the cemetery. These families include Alpha and Amanda Peebles, William R. and Celia L. E. C. Peebles Bailey, who owned and operated one of the first trading posts in the area near the Natchez Trace, and members of the Waits and Forrest families. All were instrumental in development of the early history of present day Choctaw, Montgomery and Webster Counties, Mississippi.
