- Love Point
- Unincorporated Populated Place
- Located at the north end of Kent Island along the Chesapeake Bay, 17.7 km (11 mi) northeast of Annapolis
- Named for the cape named Love Point which was originally named for John Luff, an explorer, who dedicated this naming to the throne of England. Another theory suggests the story of a young Englishman aboard Luff's ship who fell in love with an Indian maiden. They fled after marrying and were told that their union could result in war between the Narragansett and Sinepuxent Tribes since a prior arrangement of marriage had already been made. The Englishman was eventually killed and it was said that the Indian maiden died of a broken heart. Although the original intent was to name the area Luff Point, it has always been known locally as Love Point. (US-T121)
