- Take Rt Y north from Jamestown past Brickhouse Roard, the cemetery will be on the left side of the road. It is located between Jamestown and Lupus in the northern part of Moniteau County.

- The Mt. Zion Church is no longer active, however, burials in the cemetery continue. The current building (built in 1867) is still used by the local citizenry each year on Memorial day for a community picnic.
