Help on the Place Cemetery Subdivisions tab

The Cemetery Subdivisions tab list the major subdivisions of a cemetery, such as sections.

The names of the cemetery subdivisions are displayed alphabetically in a simple list. The † symbol following a subdivision name indicates that the subdivision contains grave entries.

Click on the name of a cemetery subdivision to navigate to its place page containing additional information about the specific subdivision.

This tab will not appear if the specific cemetery does not have subdivisions defined for it on Histopolis.

If a cemetery has subdivisions, you may be able to visualize their locations by navigating the the Map tab for the cemetery and selecting the Cemetery Subdivisions Layer. When the cemetery subdivisions Layer is enabled, the name of the subdivision under the cursor will appear in the status field to the left of the Layers menu. In some cases, the location of the subdivision with the cemetery may not be defined on Histopolis.
