A homemade Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) monument has been constructed in the cemetery; it reads: “In Memory of our Unknown Heroes.”
Because of few trees in the cemetery, wind and elements have ravished many of the older headstones to be illegible. A fire many years ago destroyed the early cemetery records. It is evident that someone has been making a concerted effort to restore some of the old broken headstones and monuments. - 42.893549842° 53' 36.8"N-84.196740484° 11' 48.3"W
